This video consists of a general introduction of the International Centre for Bamboo and Rattan (ICBR) in terms of its history, structure and staff. It also presents the progress ICBR made in the past 20 years, categorized into the following aspects: scientific research, technological advances, international cooperation, foreign-aid training, postgraduate education, etc. The aim of this short clip is to introduce ICBR to the IUFRO community on the occasion of the IUFRO World Day event and facilitate potential future cooperation in bamboo and rattan with fellow member organizations.
